Dear future Ekidians,
It is with great pleasure that the BDS of Télécom Paris announces the holding of the first edition of the Ekiden du Platal! It will take place at Télécom Paris on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 12 noon.
What is an Ekiden?
The Ekiden is a relay marathon of 6 runners whose relays cover the following distances: 5km – 10km – 5km – 10km – 5km – 7.2km. The route of the Ekiden du Platal passes through the schools of the Polytechnic Institute of Paris (IP Paris) present on the Platal (Télécom Paris, l’Ecole polytechnique, ENSAE Paris and ENSTA Paris).
Who can participate?
All students from IP Paris, Université Paris-Saclay, and other nearby schools/universities are invited! The staff of IP Paris is also welcomed to join us! We will do our best to make this event accessible to people with a disability and allow them to take part in the race, do not hesitate to contact us! (contact@ekiden-platal.fr)
What do we gain?
Patience, patience … But know that we are working hard with our partners to make this event unforgettable! Each participant will receive a welcome bag with surprises and surely there will be rewards for the winning teams!

Furthermore, in order to make sure you perform well during the Ekiden, we will provide you a special training plan developed by a certified coach. C’est avec un grand plaisir que le BDS de Télécom Paris vous annonce la tenue de la première édition de l’Ekiden du Platal ! Il aura lieu dans les locaux de Télécom Paris le jeudi 20 mai 2021 à partir de 12 heures.
Qu’est-ce qu’un Ekiden ?

Qui peut y participer ?
Tous les étudiants de l’IP Paris, de l’Université Paris-Saclay et des autres écoles/universités à proximité sont conviés ! Le personnel de l’IP Paris est aussi attendu ! Nous ferons tout notre possible pour rendre cet événement accessible aux personnes atteintes d’un handicap et leur permettre de prendre part à la course, n’hésitez pas à nous contacter !
